Research findings are often shared through publications, which may include journals, conference proceedings, or other formal outputs. Alongside these, researchers are increasingly encouraged to publish their datasets in open repositories to promote transparency and reproducibility. Datasets should be FAIR—Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable—so that others can build upon the work. By enabling reuse, researchers contribute to the larger body of knowledge and help maximize the value of their efforts. Properly cited data also enhances a researcher’s visibility and impact within their field.
